Yes! Super Retro gift cards can be purchased in-store at any Super Retro location. These can be loaded with an amount of your choosing and have an expiration date 36 months after purchase. Gift cards are purchasable and redeemable in-store only.

To apply for a position at Super Retro please feel free to drop your resume off in-person at your local store! We do not currently accept digital applications.

Products

All products sold by Super Retro come with a 12 month warranty in case an item is deemed faulty or not working as advertised. 

A standard 12-month manufacturers warranty applies to all brand new items.

In the case that an item is deemed faulty or doesn't perform as advertised a full refund, exchange, or repair can be offered within 12 months of purchase.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on change of mind.

Due to the nature of our business and the way in which we acquire stock we are not able to make orders by request. However, if there is a game you are interested in that we do not have in-stock we encourage you to sign up to be notified via email when that item becomes available. You can do so by entering your email and clicking 'notify me' on any out-of-stock item.

If the game you are looking for does not appear on our website please feel free to contact us for assistance!

Of course! If you’d like to be notified when an item is back in stock simply input your email into the 'notify me' section on a sold out item, click the button and you will be notified as soon as that item is available!

All products sold by Super Retro go through refurbishment, testing and quality control checks to ensure your order gets to you in the best condition it possible can!

All of the games and consoles we have available are pre-owned and have been professionally refurbished in-store - unless otherwise stated. We also stock many brand new items such as accessories, aftermarket controllers and collectables. For more information on individual items be sure to check the product description.

No, images provided on our website are provided for illustration purposes only. While we always do our best to source the highest quality stock available for our online customers we can not gaurantee condition. If you are curious as to the condition of a certain item prior to purchase please feel free to call or email us.

Typically, we receive several trade-ins per day at each of our locations. This means stock we have and haven't seen before is always rotating.

If there is an item you are looking for but can't find listed on our website please feel free to email us! There are still thousands more products for us to make available and you never know what might be next!

Yes, all games and accessories that contain save batteries are replaced and tested prior to sale.

Yes, we are able to hold stock in-store for a maximum of 48hrs. Please be aware, however, that due to certain technical limitations we are not able to prevent that item from being purchased online. If you are ready to purchase the item but are simply not able to make it to your closest Super Retro store you can always purchase via Click & Collect and pick the order up at your earliest convenience!

Yes! Everything we sell is compatible with Australian consoles unless otherwise stated. 

Shipping

No, we currently only ship within Australia. 

Processed orders can take 2-5 business days for us to dispatch. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

During peak holidays season there may be a slight delay in dispatching orders.

All orders are shipped via Australia Post.

When checking out simply select Click & Collect, choose your preferred location, and we will text or email you when your order is ready to be collected! From there all you have to do is head in-store with your proof of purchase and one of our awesome staff will grab your order for you.

Click and collect is available on all items available at your preferred location. If Click & Collect is not available during checkout that likely means that 1 or more of the items in your cart are not available at your selected location.

Trade-ins

All Super Retro stores accept trade-ins. Read more about our trade-ins process here.

We accept both consoles and games. We may also accept certain merchandise and other miscellaneous gaming related items. Call your local store for more information on what you'd like to trade in!

While we do accept some collectables we do not currently accept trading cards.

The collectables we accept are limited to videogame related items and acceptance is up to the discretion of the staff. We may not always be able to accomodate your collectables so if you are unsure please feel free to call or email us head of time.

Repairs

Of course! All Super Retro stores offer disc repair services. Prices start from just $3 per disc.

If you have a game that is freezing or skipping, worry not! We have successfully resurrected thousands of games. Please be aware, however, that Blu-ray Discs such as Wii U, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 often cannot be successfully resurfaced due to the composition of these discs.

We currently offer minor repairs. This includes small jobs that can be completed in-store such as thumbstick replacements, Game Boy lens replacements, etc. Please call your local store to ensure your required repair can be accommodated for before visiting.

While we do not sell spare parts online our individual locations may be able to offer smaller parts such as thumbstick caps, Nintendo DS stylus’, Game Boy and Wii remote battery covers, etc. We are not able to offer electronic parts. If you are in need please feel free to call your local store to check availability. Please be aware that these parts are typically used for in-store repairs and as such, we are not able to take requests and availability will vary.

Customer Accounts

Each purchase made in-store is eligible to receive store credit which can be redeemed at any Super Retro store. This credit remains active so long as your account with us remains active. Accounts and any credit attached to them do not expire and can only be terminated upon customer request.

Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, online purchases are excluded from loyalty rewards for now.

Due to technical limitations, in-store loyalty balances do not accrue on online purchases. However, this is something we are eager to offer in the future! If you have an in-store loyalty account with us your order will be attached to your account so long as you use the same email we have on file when checking out.
